Below are a further series of photos and videos taken with the Nikon P1000 camera. This continues the study into exactly what is actually out in "space" and the truth about our earth.

Set of three lights called the "Belt Stars of Orion" - Mintaka, Alnilam and Alnitak - three brightest in photo top to bottom. The words are Arabic and mean the following: Mintaka meaning "Belt", Alnilam meaning "String of Pearls", and "Alnitak meaning "The Girdle." It is anyone's guess as to why these lights might be named as such once you see them.

Jupiter Series - As identified by Star Viewer App. At this time of year, (August 2024) Jupiter and Mars are close together so you will see a series of Jupiter, and then both Jupiter and Mars shots at varying degrees of zoom.
